Illicit leaves flow

Cradled by the whispers of
illicit leaves
I encompass the smiles
which glisten in the moonlight clear

I sit beneath and above
the rock of a battlefield unknown
and foster the green dunes of high rising
sovereign shrubs

The flickering grandeur of soaring stars
Of eagles who stretch to the edge of a peaking world

I’m still entrenched in gracious stillness,
within the cascades of
free flowing waters

illicit leaves.
Flow.
