“It is certain, in any case, that ignorance, allied with power, is the most ferocious enemy justice can have.” – James Baldwin
What does the world sound like? What is it trying to say?
I been thinking and reading a lot about the BLM movement and police brutality on home soil as well as stateside.
I wanted to project what I felt the world and the status quo would sound like and let the sounds speak for themselves.
Each track was carefully selected and arranged to take the listener on a sonic journey, and lesson if you will
using tracks and sounds I felt best resonated with the current state of things. The chaos, fear, and confusion, interspersed
with echoes of hope and resistance.
Human life is not a commodity.
If the police can’t protect us then who will?
They’re here to serve and protect… their own agendas…
