A Photo Series

“One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well.” – Virginia Woolf

In the world that we occupy, we have been inundated on how we need to curate our actions to enhance our livelihoods and the types of food we need to consume to enhance our bodies and minds. But we do so with all of these noble attempts we embark on in order to gain a better lifestyle through the consumption of “clean” food, and for many of us, there is an implication which gives eating the things we truly enjoy nefariously. I have always been taking the mind and body to new personal levels and through introspection, I have come to realise that we only have one experience in the present moment to enjoy what the universe puts on the table. In moderation, we should enjoy the experience and blessing of the ability to taste. To indulge in the foods that we truly desire, in moderation, however, is what I believe to be a true gift to the happiness of oneself. I believe to absurdly refrain from indulging and treating oneself is detrimental to our overall well-being and to an extent when moderation is preserved, enjoying the simple pleasure and experience of great food in life.

Below is a photo-series in which I document the foods which I eat, though only a few images, I continue to document my food as I believe that there is some kind of palatable-art-curation that takes place when I engage with my food photographically.
