I practice with ballpoint pen, string art, paint, and digital art. My orthodox approach to the September “Heritage” theme doesn’t focus on our ethnic groups but on what ties us together: our behaviour, our emotions. Here’s a scribbling range executed digitally, a portraiture of expressive heritage. Our heritage has molded us and has given us our identity. As we celebrate our uniqueness as South Africans, let’s not forget our true nature of who we are. We share a lot, and we have a lot in common that can’t be articulated into words but rather can be observed and experienced.

Here’s our expressive heritage as South Africans. We are prayerful, smiling, happy, we stare deep into the soul and our dramatic heritage.
