Poem by Comfy
Don’t forget me when you’re contemplating about ending your existence,
Don’t silence me like the hands of a parent,
Rejoice when I speak because I am you and you are me.
Be weird, don’t fit in, be illiterate to the word normal.
Cry, don’t let the echoing voices of the past speak on your present.
Smile and I don’t mean wear one, smile like you used to, before you threw away the keys to your chest.
Don’t run from me, understand me, I am bruised, accept me, I am damaged, heal me, this is your body, treat it well and learn to love it.
I love you, I hope you’ll learn to love me too.
